Hello dear newcomers!! Today we present a new contest from Steemit Nursery!! This time the topic is:
Vote and know your vote!
As a member of the Newcomers Community team, my job is to welcome new #steemit users and check their day of entry to the platform.
I do that by visiting the SteemWorld website, and as soon as I get to their profiles, the first thing I see is that they haven't cast any votes. And this is probably because they don't know how important it is or they don't quite know how to do it.
Without going into details on this topic, the contest will be based on voting for different users during 7 days. Of course, you can vote several times for the same person, and then you will present, in 1 week, what your votes have been.
A raffle will be held among participants who qualify to win, and 5 spots will be awarded.
It does not matter if you have been in this ecosystem for a short time or a long time, you can start voting! And you can also participate if you've been here a long time!
Attention! Very important:
You can't let your voting power drop below 80%. In that case, your voting power will be affected for a large number of hours and you will have to wait a long time to be able to vote and for that to be effective for the user you are healing and for you (I recommend 10 votes per day if you are a newcomer).
There are two possible scenarios, depending on the among of SP you have. Below are the corresponding tutorials:
Initial step: Check how much SP you have.
How?
- From your profile, go to the wallet
- Once there, check how much Steem Power (SP) you have:
Once you know how much SP you have, go to the following website:
https://steemworld.org/
To review your account, you must put your username, for example:
https://steemworld.org/@worldgeography
Tutorial if you have an SP lower than 500
In that case you can vote only with your 100% power. Don't do it more than 10 times a day, otherwise you will weaken your account too much (that is, your voting power), and also your vote will be worth less and less.
Everyone new to #steemit is under 500 SP, so don't worry. In that case, your path to the contest is as follows:
- From the SteemWorld page (your username), take a screenshot of the number of votes you take when you join this contest and put the date on your post
For example:
INITIAL MOMENT, 02/01/21
- Then, after 5 or 7 days (depending on when you join the contest), take another screenshot to see how many votes you added
For example:
FINAL MOMENT, 02/02/21
Maybe you can try to see who you have voted for. Honestly, this is something that sometimes works for me and sometimes doesn't, having less than 500 SP. To do so, there is just one more step:
- Press the button: Out. Votes
- Take a screenshot of the graphic that the page gives you. You will see that in this case, the weight is the same, because due to the low SP you still can't regulate the vote:

In this case, you can now regulate your vote. Remember not to exhaust your power, do not let it drop more than 80%.
To check this, you should go directly to the Out. Votes
And you will see the graph with all the votes you have given in the last 7 days. You can see them according to weight or user (count).

Hola queridos newcomers!! Hoy presentamos un nuevo concurso desde Steemit Nursery!! Esta vez el tema es:
Vota y conoce tu voto!
Como miembro del equipo de la Comunidad de Newcomers, mi tarea es dar la bienvenida a nuevos usuarios de #steemit y chequear su día de ingreso a la plataforma.
Hago eso visitando la página de SteemWorld, y ni bien llego a sus perfiles, lo primero que veo es que no han efectuado ningún voto. Y esto probablemente sea porque no saben lo importante que es o no saben bien cómo hacerlo.
Sin entrar en detalles de este tema, el concurso se basará en votar a diferentes usuarios durante 7 días. Claro que puedes votar varias veces a la misma persona, y luego presentarás, en 1 semana, cuáles han sido tus votos.
Se llevará a cabo un sorteo entre los participantes que califiquen para ganar, y 5 lugares serán otorgados.
No importa si llevás poco o mucho tiempo en este ecosistema, ya podés empezar a votar! Y tamién podés participar si hace mucho que estás aquí!
Atención! Muy importante:
No podés dejar que tu poder de voto baje del 80%. En ese caso tu poder de voto se verá afectado por una gran cantidad de horas y deberás esperar bastante para poder votar y que eso sea efectivo para el usuario al que cures y para vos (por eso se recomiendan 10 votos por día para los recién llegados).
Hay dos escenarios posibles, dependiendo de la cantidad de SP que tengas. A continuación van los tutoriales correspondientes:
Paso inicial: Chequeá cuánto SP tienes.
¿Cómo?
- Desde tu perfil, anda a la billetera (wallet)
- Una vez allí, revisá cuánto Steem Power (SP) tenés
Una vez que ya sepas cuánto SP tenés, andá al siguiente sitio web:
https://steemworld.org/
Para revisar tu cuenta, debes poner tu nombre de usuario, por ejemplo:
https://steemworld.org/@worldgeography
Tutorial si tenés un SP inferior a 500
En ese caso podrás votar únicamente con tu 100% de poder. No lo hagas más de 10 veces por día, caso contrario debilitarás demasiado a tu cuenta (es decir, a tu poder de voto), y además tu voto valdrá cada vez menos.
Todos los nuevos en #steemit tienen menos de 500 SP, así que no te preocupes. En ese caso, tu camino para el concurso es el siguiente:
- Desde la página de SteemWorld (tu usuario), toma un captura de pantalla de la cantidad de votos que llevas al momento en que te unas a este concurso y coloca la fecha en tu publicación
Por ejemplo:
MOMENTO INICIAL, 01/02/21
- Luego, pasados entre 5 o 7 días (dependiendo de cuándo te sumes al concurso), haz otra captura de pantalla para ver cuántos votos sumaste
Por ejemplo:
MOMENTO FINAL, 02/02/21
Quizás puedas intentar ver a quiénes has votado. Honestamente esto es algo que a veces me funciona y otras veces no, al tener menos de 500 SP. Para hacerlo, solo queda un paso más:
- Presiona el botón Out. votes
- Haz una captura de pantalla al gráfico que te larga la página. Verás que en este caso, el peso es el mismo, porque por el bajo SP aún no puedo regular el voto:

En este caso ya podrás regular tu voto. Recuerda no agotar tu poder, no dejes que éste baje más de 80%.
Para revisar esto, deber ir directamente al botón de Out. votes
Y verás el gráfico con todos los votos que has dado en los últimos 7 días. Puedesverlos según peso (weight) o usuario (count).
Las reglas son las siguientes:
- Cualquier idioma es bienvenido.
- Colocá las capturas de pantalla correspondientes para que podamos ver que lo has entendido y que has estado votando a otros usuarios 😊
- Coloca una breve explicación de tu experiencia haciendo esto, si ya lo sabías y si lo consideras útil (máximo 200 palabras).
- Resteemea esta publicación, para que más personas se enteren de este concurso.
- Etiqueta @belenguerra para que pueda ver tu publicación más rápido.
- Comparte el enlace de tu publicación en un comentario. No consideraremos las entradas que no estén en esta publicación o que no estén publicadas en otras comunidades.
- Comparte tu publicación en Twitter o Facebook, etiquetando @steemit, y luego comparte el enlace o una imagen en el mismo comentario de tu entrada.
