Some strange are its ways.
Giving deceit and offering prayers each day.
Its punishment, indeed a strange decree.
To remember fondly, and forgiveness plea.
To inflict wounds upon our chest.
And then apply healing, in hope we rest.
Diverting all paths, far and wide.
Guiding us to where our destinies reside.
Often, without errors, we find.
Pardon granted, yet penalties aligned.
Its loyalty, a curious display.
Instilling assurance, yet fear in the fray.
Amidst trials, pushing us through.
Offering prayers, seeking safety anew.
