Hello great Steemians, I'm happy to be here again. I do hope that we all are doing great. Today I will be discussing on the topic: "My Skill Takes Me Up"
This will based on the contest guide as seen below:
In your opinion, what do you think a skill is?
A skill is a particular job that an individual has learned and become a professional in that area of life.
In a layman knowledge, we would refer to it as an occupation. This is because that is what we do for our living which provide us with our daily feeding.
If factory, we have skill and unskilled workers. Here, unskilled workers refers to those who don't have any basic hand work but has gone to school for a degree. Whereas, skill worker can be place in the area of baking of bread, tailoring, photo editing etc.
In your country, is a skill or skills needed for daily survival, or is not needed?
Today in Nigeria, anyone without a skill will die of hunger! This skills are very essential to our daily living.
One without skill, will just be a victim of life. Our country is now survival of the fittest. The government are now telling citizens that there is no job and this has made the government to encourage entrepreneurial development and even enrolled such during the one year NYSC training in CAMP.
This shows that skills are needed for our day to day survival.
Tell us some skills in your country that are so resourceful.
Below are some of the skill that are so resourceful and which is needed daily as far as life is concern.
• Graphic Design
• Tailoring/ Fashion design
• Photography
• Hair styling
• mechanic
• Carpentering
• brig laying
Etc
All the above are skill that can not be ignore in the face of life. However, we need to make sure this skill are part of us for we to grow in the phase of life.
What skill do you wish to learn and why do you want such a skill
The skill i wish to learn is, brig laying. This is because it has great inside and can never be underated.
If I become an engineer today, each building contract will be in millions and by so doing, I make more money for building houses for people.
In conclusion, skills are very essential for our daily survival. Today I do photography which is a skill i learnt far back ago.
Today our government can't offer jobs to her citizens, so having this skills will help you to go a long way.

Amigo acá en Venezuela la verdad es que son muy ingeniosos las personas, se han valido de cualquier oportunidad para aprender a hacer algo con las manos, de manera sencilla y poder monetizar sus conocimientos para poder ayudarse de manera económica sin necesidad de ser profesionales.
Porque hasta haber obtenido un título no vale mucho ya.

You are right, friend, we must have some skill because otherwise we would not have a job or anything else to do, here in Venezuela it is also important to have more than one activity to survive economically, can you believe it?
