Have you ever tried ordering fresh and live seafoods and cooked right after you order? Well Mactan is most famous with its SuTuKil. SuTuKil is from the Cebuano word which means Sugba which is grill, Tuwa or Stew or soup and Kill for Kilaw which is Raw fish just added with vinegar.

Back when I was really young this place used to be crowded with tourists and locals. I guess they originated the term SuTuKil, well I'm not so sure but whenever people mention about SuTuKil people visit Mactan.

Live seafoods displayed as you enter the restaurant, there are group of men calling for you to visit their restaurant. I thought they were calling us cause we look rich,whahha but honestly they don't have much costumers.

Honestly through time people don't visit this place anymore, people complain about how they price their food. You can actually eat in a luxurious restaurant with their price range.

But here I am not complaining coz it's free, the Oyster or Talaba which is 100 for 1 kilo in other restaurant is served 300 pesos. The Calamares can be served 200-300 per serving is 800 pesos here. Their Crab which could range to 400-500 is 800 pesos. And the fish soup is 200-300 is served here for 800.

Reasonable price? I guess not, one reason is that the place is not well ventilated, it was really hot and has only one electric fan. The plates were plastic and gave us plastic cups for the soft drinks. With this kind of price you can already eat in a fully air-conditioned Filipino restaurant with really nice ambiance.

But for the food it was still delicious, not above average but not bad as well. I guess my sister in law paid almost 4,000 pesos for this meal. So if you are visiting here in Cebu try not to visit this place of you want fresh sea foods.
