STEEMFOODS // COOKING MY FAVOURITE DISH; INUN-UNANG DANGGIT
Hello fellow @steemfoods family. Good day to all. How are you there? I'm @sweetnaomi05 and hoping that all is well and happy with full tummies.
Today i wanna share to you guys my own version of Inun-unang Danggit. Inun-unan or fish paksiw is a Filipino dish that it's main ingredients is fresh fish, vinegar and spices. These dish is one of my favourite dish that can make me eat lots of rice.
For today's recipe, i used Danggit fish to cook and here are the ingredients and instruction in how to cook this tasty dish.
HERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 kilo Danggit Fish
• 5 minced garlic
• 1 whole onion
• 1 thumb ginger
• 2 pieces green chili pepper
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1/2 tablespoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon umami seasoning
• 1/2 tablespoon edible oil
• 1/2 cup water
HOW TO PREPARE
STEP 1: In order to clean the fish, wash with water and remove innards.
STEP 2: Prepare and slice the onion, ginger, garlic and green chili pepper.
STEP 3: Put the cleaned fish in a cooking pot.
STEP 4 : Add the sliced onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili pepper.
STEP 5: Put the seasoning, 1/2 tablespoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon umami seasoning and 1 tablespoon vinegar.
STEP 5: Add 1/2 cup water.
STEP 6: Lastly, Turn the heat and let it boil. And then let it cook for 15 minutes then add the 1/2 tablespoon edible oil.
