Hello dear friends, once again, it is a pleasure for me to share with you here on SING AND PLAY on its 158th Week, a song that was immortalized in the voice of Hernán Marín back in the 80's. It's about "Sea of my hope". This is the original lyrics of Luis Cruz Cordero, the same author as "Happy Birthday". Part of the music is also by Luis Cruz, but with a huge load of Venezuelan folklore, specifically, from the eastern part of the country. It is a musical form of the "Malagueña oriental" type that is reminiscent of Spanish popular music. I have interpreted this version with the accompaniment of my #cuatrovenezolano and it is the most genuine expression of our #musicavenezolana. I hope you like it and it will be until a next participation.

Hola queridos amigos, una vez más, es un placer para mi compartir con ustedes aquí en SING AND PLAY en su Semana Nro. 158, una canción que fue inmortalizada en la voz de Hernán Marín allá por los años 80. Se trata de "Mar de mi esperanza". Esta es la letra original de Luis Cruz Cordero, el mismo autor del "Cumpleaño Feliz". Parte de la música es también de Luis Cruz, pero con una enorme carga del folklore venezolano, específicamente, del oriente del país. Se trata de una forma musical tipo "Malagueña oriental" que tiene reminiscencias de la música popular española. Esta versión la he interpretado con el acompañamiento de mi #cuatrovenezolano y es la más genuina expresión de nuestra #musicavenezolana. Espero que les guste y será hasta una próxima participación.

y me llevo mi chinchorro y mi atarraya,
