Lips Alligator: The lips Alligator is the line that is color green which acts as the balance line for the value of a period of 5 SMA (smoother moving average)

According to my mentor, the Williams Alligator is an indicator that goes to sleep, wakes up, and eats. I was a bit confused until after I had done my research and discovered that the Williams Alligator Indicator goes to sleep when the teeth, jaw, and lips are intertwined or closed to each other.

The more the indicator sleeps, the more it gets hungry to eat when it wakes up from sleep. As a trader, the best time for you to take profit is when you see that the alligator has begun to lose interest in the market which then you will see the balance lines coming together.
