Hello friends! Today we decided to move away from the family theme a bit and offer the topic of predictions.
Do you believe in predictions? Do you like to read horoscopes and how much do you believe them? What personality traits do you consider a reflection of your zodiac sign? Maybe you had cases when the most unusual predictions came true? Here you can talk about folk signs that you believe in and that you do not believe in.

Я верю в Дежа-вю.
Я считаю, что это либо увиденное нами во сне ранее, либо подсмотренное в другой Вселенной нашей Мультивселенной, где мы есть, но живём немного иначе. Так илииначе, но подсмотренное во сне иногда сбывается и в реальности. Наверняка чаще, чем нам кажется, потому что бОльшую часть снов мы забываем.
Гороскопы - фигня.
А вот насчет имени и свойственных знакам особенностям - может быть и правда: мы, пока родимся и доживём до сознательного возраста, подвергаемся температурным воздействиям в определенный период своей жизни по-разному. Наверняка это воздействует на наши ощущения и даёт нам некоторый опыт.
Приметы...
Я верю в черную кошку. Большой гадости не случится, а вот какая-нибудь мелочь - наверняка.
Ещё я верю, что если в подъезд зашел мужик с ножом, не стОит с ним подниматься в лифте.
Верю, что если жена дома, будет ужин.
Ну и в выборы верю.
Thanks for conducting an other interesting topic for discussion. If I talk about my self. Since in my childhood time, I used to read part of newspaper HOW WILL YOU SPEND YOUR DAY TODAY on daily basis. Some times I think this is really True and sometimes it seems to be like fantasy. But now in mature age , I think this is not correct. Due to Our moods swings , circumstances create accordingly to our living style. The right and 💯 correct predictioner is Almighty Allah we just believe on Him.

В гороскоп не верю.
Верю скорее в предчувствие.
Я чую только одно , от слов мастера , жопа будет в мыле , 7 и 8 сентября .
Около 2 недель назад сказал точно о переезде в новое жилье . 10 сентября 2022 , увы правду говорю часто !!! И в лоб сразу, редко ошибась Я .
В гороскопы точно не верю. А предсказания....вроде и не верю, но, наверное, они меня каким-то образом цепляют, особенно, если предскажут что-то не то. Поэтому я никогда не гадаю даже в шутку. Максимум, могу купить Рождественское печенье с предсказаниями, там всегда все отлично!
Do I believe in predictions? Only those that are in the bible and that important people like Nostradamus left for posterity. And you will say? He doesn't appear in the bible" and it is true, but after years of studying his work, I concluded that this man is a profet. I don't read horoscopes now, but I used to. Nowadays from time to time I listen to Mia Astral's [🔗] predictions (https://instagram.com/mia_astral?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) because she is a constellation scholar, it's rather scientific. What does fascinate me are the characteristics of each zodiac sign. For example I am a Taurus and I follow a Podcaster named Michael Tang whose opinions and way of thinking, have helped me a lot to understand myself, obviously he is a Taurus too! Regarding the signs, I am supposed to get along very well with earth signs... And so far the signs I get along best with are water and fire signs: Sagittarius and Libra.
Do I believe in predictions? No. I don't believe in horoscopes, in fact I don't like to read them because they predispose you. I am an Aquarius and my daughters are Taurus and Sagittarius. The taurus has a personality that clashes with mine, but she has an immense heart and is not spiteful, after a few minutes she forgets the transgressions, neither her father nor I are spiteful, however my youngest daughter is super sweet, but quite spiteful!
Well I do not believe in zodiac signs and their predictions. I am a Scorpio and it is said that Scorpios may be quiet but are like a slow poison. They sting when they get the opportunity.
But in reality I am nothing like that.
As for predictions I would hold on to a positive prediction and discard a negative one. I believe the future is what you make of it. If you think and say negative things then your life goes in a negative direction but if you think and say positive things your life goes in a positive direction.
Let's look at things this way,if you get a negative prediction does it mean that it must happen that way? So whose fault would that be? Yours?
I have a cousin who had a funny behaviour while growing up. and his family never thought of him as promising. They gave up on him based on what they saw at that time and predicted that he would be nonentity.
Along the line he picked up his life back and today he is so well placed that all his family members now depend on him. He is now the one they look up to.
This also reminds me of a book I read by a man called Ola Rotimi. In the story a Yoruba king had a baby boy that was to be his successor and the usual thing according to the Yoruba tradition then was to bring in a soothsayer to fortell future of the child. When the soothsayer did he said: the child has a bad destiny because in future he will kill his father and marry his mother. The child was to be killed.
The soldier who went to kill him was not able to kill and innocent child. And so he abandoned the child who was latter raised by a merciful stranger from a neighbouring village. The child grew up knowing nothing about his roots.
When he had become a man, one day he went out to farm and met a man who he killed not knowing he was a king because he was not guarded. However he killed him out of anger for raining abuses on his tribe not knowing it was his father.
As time went on, the next village whose king he killed were under siege from another village who decided to attack at the time they had not crowned a king. So he joined the war to help them since he felt guilty for killing their king, even though they never knew he was their kings killer. He fought a great fight that led that village to victory. The only way they could repay him was to make him their King.
According to their tradition a new king inherits all that belongs to the former king including his wives. That was how the prediction finally came true. They made a move to stop it but it only led to the fulfillment of it.
I think that if the child had grown up in the palace he would have known his mother and his father and such a thing would have been averted, but they chose to fear the prediction. So it was not the child's fault. So for me the future is not specifically predictable except by God. And God does not choose for us,we make our choices ourselves.
