Every branch is connected to the tree, leaves to the branches and the branches, tree itself are resourced from the roots through the soil . The soil supplies all the required nutrients for both the root and the shoot systems of the plant. That is exactly the role steemit is performing. It is the platform that has expanded to reach the global economy through steem by engaging people all over, sharing ideas, ideologies and creativity.
Every adventure starts at a point but it becomes extremely difficult if you cannot maneuver your through the journey simply because you are not conversant with the path you have taken and that is exactly what most people feel when they sign up to steemit as a #newbie. first: connect with your signer

More than seventy percent of steemians were introduced to steemit through #promosteem by people who were already on the platform. Personally, I was introduced by @bigssam about four years ago. Initially, I had wanted to do things on my own but was extremely difficult simply because I was a newbie then. But when I connected with my signer, he taught me my way around the platform and that tuition he gave made my sail smooth. As a newbie, whoever guided you to sign up will be the best person to guide you.

secondly:study the trending posts

Once you enter any community, the first posts you come across are the trending posts. Trending post are those that have received much recognition from #curators and steemians. So as a newbie, try to pick clues from the these post it will help you a lot.

thirdly :acknowledge the leaders of your community

Every community entails leaders which consists of CRs(country representatives), MOD(moderators), PROM(promoters) etc. And also depending on how the community is structured, definitely there are leaders you must identify and acknowledge them in your post by mentioning their usernames for easy identification of your post. For instance, promo-steem have promoters like @mcsamm, @nattybongo who are doing a fantastic job for the community.

fourthly : develop the habit of commenting

Commenting on people's post is one of the best ways of being identified and recognized because it draws attention to your blog.
