The Journey so far

I wish to begin this write-up by sharing with everyone the many milestones that have been achieved so far on the steem blockchain. It is so interesting to note that, my existence on the blockchain has been so significant in helping the growth of others. My existence on the steem blockchain has led many others here who are tremendously doing pretty better also to the development of steemit. Together, we have all made a great achievement in our personal and community growth.

However, l have mostly been identified on the blockchain as someone who is highly dedicated to sharing steemit. I certainly take so much delight in helping to promote steem and steemit in my own unique way. This is the fire that keeps burning every day. Even though my effort to the promotional work may not be that much, but l still cherish and value every single little piece of effort l exhibit each day in the promotion of steem blockchain.

I am a Steem Promoter
Steemit promotion appears to be the only and the most activity l find doing. In recent times, my love for the steem promo work has been much increased to the satisfaction of many people. That is not to say that is all l can do, but the passion and delight l have gathered in recent times makes me enjoy the activity.

I must also add that the recognition given to me as a steemit local promoter in Ghana by @arie.steem has effectively influenced my promotional energy in the promo steem community. In the coming days, l hope to see myself doing much better in promotional activities to ensure we reach steem with the target group out there.

Campus Connect Ghana
Among the achievements of the #promo-steem community is the establishment of @campusconnectgh as a sub-community handled by myself @mcsamm and @nattybongo with the support of @collinz @anaman and @odsam2 to care for all steemit promotions at the various universities and colleges that are within our reach. Since the establishment of #CCG, the team has made some effort in ensuring the main objective for its establishment is duly achieved.

Fo this and many other reasons, arrangements have been made to ensure many different projects are undertaken by steemians who also want to support this at campuses. It is certainly a collective work that involves the effort of the entire #steemghana community. It seeks to assist members who have plans to share steemit with students in school. Universities and colleges are filled with wonderful and potential people who through their exuberant energy can help establish a stronger steem community to educate, train and assist other students by empowering their god-giving talents. This is why we stand to fight for a digital transformation with people in schools through steem and steemit.

Upcoming Campus Events
To ensure that the core objective of CCG is achieved, the promo team in Ghana has arranged for a meetup at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology this Tuesday, 18th May 2021. The meeting is basically purposed to introduce to the students on campus what steem and steemit are all about. It has been agreed that we do not take it so deep with them for the first time.

And so promoters with the support of other steemians who will make themselves available are only to ensure that, they all get themselves involved in some ongoing social activities on campus. We may even want to eat together with some students just so we can make them part of us. It is so necessary to make friends and understand what their aspirations in life are. Once a friendship is duly established, sharing steemit will then be much easier to enhance our promotion.

It is so unfortunate to note that, the CCG account is new and has not gathered enough power also to support some of these activities that are underway. Meanwhile, most of the steem promotions require some money to be able to handle some of these activities. Let me express profound gratitude to @stephenkendal, who once sponsored the printing of some steem t-shirts to be used for steem promotions. It is what has been used lately by the promoters here in ghana for all steem promotions.

Over the weekend, @massachussets through the guidance of @mcsamm and @nattybongo planned a campus meetup at University for Development Studies at Tamale to introduce steem to some student entrepreneurs. This gave us a successful meetup which ended in signing up 8 new members. This is a great achievement to ensure the establishment of a steem community at this campus.

However, the Tamale meetup demanded some supports of drinks, water, flyers for its success. Steem t-shirts are however required by the new recruits from this meetup to ensure their massive participation in steem promo work at this very campus.
Since l have dedicated to supporting promo activities in ghana and on campuses with CCG, l was left with no option than to exchange the SBD l have saved for future promo into steem to support the printing of steem shirts and flyers to assist the upcoming campus promo and the new recruits at the just ended meetup at Tamale campus.

Even though these compelled me to withdraw 680 STEEM to sponsor all these activities, l still want to express my gratitude to @steemcurator01 who later suggested to me how l would have made good use of the sent steem by powering up some part of it. It is so important for us all to make powering up some steem a priority. It is what makes our journey much better here on the steem blockchain. And l am thankful once again for the directive steem curator01 gave getting support with some of these promo activities. Even as we plan to support steem activities, it is needful to draw attention to saving some steem to power up.

Printing of flyers and t-shirts for campus promo
Earlier today, l stepped out with some members of the steem promo team in Ghana to assist me in catering for the purpose for which the steem withdrawal was made. Printing some steem flyers is necessary for the event that is expected to occur tomorrow at KNUST. About 150 flyers have been printed today to be given out to the students we can reach to share steem with. We are hopeful that, these flyers help us in the promo we have planned for.

In addition, 30 steem shirts have been ordered to be printed off which are going to be distributed to support the activities of newbies from the other campuses that CCG has started operating. With the presence of steem shirts and flyers to be used for the campus promo this week and KNUST, we are hopeful to announce everywhere the existence of steem blockchain and the plans to empower students in their skills.
