MEET UP WITH THE CO-STEEMIANS AND NEWCOMERS

Good day everyone and to all steemians,
the newcomers, active and not so active steemians. Hope you're all fine.
As we know that when there is unity and teamwork, there is success after.

That's why we gathered today for our meet up. because we wanted to know more about this platform. And we're so thankful to our co-steemians @gingfriend20ph who organized this meet up.

For our attendance, we reach 13 steemians including the newcomers with @dewberry143, @nelcesa123 and @denver86 who are not in my list below:

And also to @marlon82 for sharing his knowledge. And here's the topics we tackled about:

• What is Steemit?
  Since we have also newcomers in our meet up, we started discussing for what steemit is? So, steemit is a platform wherein we can post or make a blog with rewards without spending any amount of money. Just be creative in posting so that we can earn an upvote. Because it can greatly helps us especially this time that most of us are affected by the pandemic, some of us had no work so, through blogging on this platform we can have an extra income and just be patient because not at all times that our blog is upvoted we must find of ways that somewhat different and can catch the attention of the curators. And aside from that we also discussed the symbols of upvote and resteem and its uses. So that the newcomers are aware of what should they do.
• What are the communities?
  There are several communities in steemit and each community has its rules. So before we post to that particular community, we must be aware of their rules imposed.
• How to post?

So in posting, first is the title. Of course the title must coincide to the blog. Then greetings and add some questions before the main topic. And most of the communities require 200-300 words, so, we must see to it that we can have this number of words in our blog . We also discussed the different styles in typing like Italic, bold, center and how to come up with that styles.

• How to Insert Video?
  So, If you want to insert videos in your blog, first you must have an account in YouTube. Then upload your video in your YouTube account then copy the link then paste it in your created post.
• Correct Tagging
  In tagging, the first tag must be the main topic and it depends upon what kind of post you have for the next tag. And also were not only posting to earn, we must also engage in it like giving comments to the posts of others and engaging in different contests.

• Promotion
  For the promotion of Steemit, like what we did today, having meet up with the co steemians and newcomers is also one way of promoting steemit. And I want also to promote this platform to my co-workers, since I have already co-workers that were already steemians before, way back 2018, but inactive now, I want them to be back again. And also, another way to promote is to share our post to share our post to social media like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

• Binance Cryptocurrency
  This was discussed by @marlon82, he show us on how to create binance and what are the steps on it.

Before I end up with my post, I'd like to thank my co-steemian @sweetnaomi05 for accomodating us that made us comfortable while listening and engaging in the discussion and the yummy foods that she prepared for us.
