How you got introduced to steem and what got you interested in it?

Most of us probably got introduced to steem through a friend, colleague or family member. Some of us might have got introduced through a stranger at the airport, at the cafe, through a co-passenger in a flight and so on. Others may have got introduced through blog articles on steem.

Some of you who are cynical pessimist, probably had two, three or more introductions from different sources and some prodding before you got involved in steem. Our stories will differ depending on our circumstances and our outlook on technology, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
