WORLD SMILE PROJECT OFFICIAL REPORT: EMERGENCY RESPON UPDATE [ROOF SHEET DISTRIBUTION IN PHILIPPINES AND FOOD PROGRAM IN BOTH INDONESIA AND PHILIPPINES]
World Smile Project has distributed 186 roof sheets I'm Mactan, Cebu Island Philippines, the fund is from all World Smile Project donators. It is a good thing the steemit brings up today as a new spirit of making steem for the better life of all users and community.
We all thank you and especially the steemit team who has supported the implementation of the World Smile Project in all areas. A few days ago World Smile Project decided to support the most needed item for Odette Typhoon-affected families in the Philippines, as many as 200 SBD transferred from the @worldsmile account.
@bien as our representative in Philipines has posted the latest report of the shelter program implementation in the county as you can find in the link below:
22 families were benefited from the program and it is something we would like to see from the program result because our motto is creating smiles all over the world. We expected that the program of the World Smile Project will bring a happy face and smile for those who have lost their home by the Odette.
The implementation of the program led by Bien with the support from his team and community in the area hopefully will add value to the steemit as this platform is clearly visualized by its action to help them out from the emergency stage. This positive value could bring a good impact on the growth of the platform and its economical value after all.
The distribution of the roof sheet is not the only program the world smile project would implement in the Philippines because yesterday the World Smile Project has also transferred 120 SBD to support Emergency Food Program there. This program is expected to support about 100 families with 5 kg rice and noodle for each of them.
The world smile project administrator @heriadi has sent 120 SBD as the management has agreed to support Food Program in the Philippines. The Emergency Food Program is supported by the Venezuela-Indonesia World Smile Project Team. @mariana4ve sent 200 SBD to support the food program for Indonesia Flood Response and Philippines Odette at the same time.
It is how the world smile project runs and implements the program across the nation, everyone could join the project by donating the SBD, STEEM, TRX to the @worldsmile account or directly sharing the reward to the account from their post. World Smile Project is keeping the fund in form of SBD, TRX, and STEEM for the International support program and saving some in Rupiah (fiat money) for implementing the program in Indonesia. It is why the SBD, TRX, and Steem are kept in the account till now.
Several programs are is developing right now, and the World Smile Project is collecting the fund to implement the programs accordingly, some of the programs are as below:
- Emergency Food Program in North Aceh-Indonesia which has been distributed as I have reported previously
- Emergency Food Program in Mactan, Cebu Island Philippines which 120 SBD has been transferred to Bien as our representative in there
- Public Latrine and water sanitation system in North Aceh, which this program is undergoing with the expenditure of about 1000 SBD (recent price).
- Organic Sustainable food program in the boarding school which will take place in the last boarding schools we support because the program is part of the study room that has built a few weeks ago.
- Housing renovation program, which this program could be in Aceh or Venezuela and Philippines as well
Implementing those programs will need at least about 2,500 SBD with the current price in the global market, as this program will go bigger hence The World Smile Project will need more funds we encourage our fellow supporters to share the reward to the account.
