[Poem] Faces in the Crowd
A sea of faces, ever flowing,
Strangers passing, never knowing.
Each a story, joys and fears,
Hidden depths behind the years.
A weary woman, eyes downcast,
Burdens carried, hopes surpassed.
A child with laughter, pure and bright,
Innocence dancing in the light.
A businessman, briefcase tight,
Chasing dreams in morning light.
An artist's gaze, a searching soul,
Beauty found, to make them whole.
Strangers passing, in this fleeting scene,
A tapestry of what might have been.
But in their eyes, a glimpse we find,
Of shared humanity, a common kind.
