[Poem] Lullaby of Sleep
The day unwinds, a drowsy sigh,
Sunlight fades, a tear in the sky.
Stars begin to softly gleam,
Whispering tales of a gentle dream.
Curls of smoke from the chimney rise,
A lullaby hummed by fireflies.
Crickets chirp a soothing song,
As slumber creeps the whole night long.
Eyes grow heavy, eyelids droop,
Thoughts drift away, worries elope.
Sheets embrace in a downy hold,
Sweet dreams unfold, a story untold.
Rest your head, let troubles cease,
Sleep's gentle hand brings sweet release.
