[Poem] Silent Descent
The world hushed still, a canvas bare,
Awaiting winter's touch with care.
The wind whispers secrets through the trees,
As snowflakes drift on the frosty breeze.
Each flake, a feather, soft and white,
A gentle blanket through the night.
They swirl and dance in silent flight,
Transforming darkness into light.
The frosted boughs, like crystal lace,
Adorn the world in cold embrace.
A hush descends, a peaceful grace,
As winter paints its icy trace.
