[Poem] The Serpent's Coil
A serpent, cold, its scales a-glimmer,
Hate winds its way, a heart's dark simmer.
A whispered word, a poisoned dart,
It pierces trust, tears love apart.
Blind fury burns, a scorching fire,
Reason consumed, fueled by desire.
It builds its walls, a fortress high,
Where empathy and kindness die.
The serpent coils, a twisted knot,
In poisoned minds, where good is forgot.
It feeds on fear, on doubt's dark seed,
A twisted harvest, a bitter creed.
But hope remains, a fragile flame,
To break the curse, to speak love's name.
For even hate, in time may tire,
And hearts may mend, set minds on fire.
