A weight unseen, a burden held,
Responsibility's story, often untold.
A promise whispered, a hand to hold,
A duty fulfilled, braving the cold.

The weight of dreams, on fragile wings,
The weight of care, that comfort brings.
The weight of choices, big and small,
Shaping the path, for one and all.

It whispers softly, a constant hum,
A nagging reminder, of what must be done.
