[Poem] Velvet Embrace
The sun dips low, a fiery kiss,
Goodnight it bids, the world to miss.
Night falls soft, a velvet drape,
Stars emerge, a glittering cape.
The moon, a pearl in inky sea,
Casts silvery light on land and tree.
Crickets chirp, a gentle song,
As creatures stir where shadows throng.
Dreams take flight on whispered breeze,
Lulling worries, bringing ease.
The world hushed, in slumber deep,
Night's gentle hand, a promise to keep.
