I was always a bit proud of this one. Until I did a better version in oil two years later. I still love the style of it, but the proportions bother me. Her face just seems a little short. I could be wrong, but I don’t think it’s correctly proportioned.

The coolest thing about this is the gold paint in the background. The real painting shimmers.

I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
