It all depends on how you live. If your house is big, barely furnished and the walls and furniture are white a colourful funny carpet might brighten up the place. If not it will cause a headache plus in a messy home you will hardly see it.
I agreed. How big our house is and how the installation of the room is set up will have a big impact.
Most of my neighbors whose living room is small use colorful carpets.
My living room is small too. Three chairs fir in and that's it. My walls are white but the tiles on the floir dark. A colourful carpet would not fit here. A nice one should be noticed.
