He is just one of a kind and in the end I think you either like him or you hate him. I... like him!
I am sure he is not the easiest man on earth but yah, it got him where he wanted to be in life. At one stage, the richest man in the world. Something he wanted to be since a very small age.
It just shows.. never give up on your dreams. Rather put all your efforts into them.
