Going past a bakery and not letting your eyes wander among the many desserts that may be there is inevitable. At Truchi Cafe we ​​are aware of this, so we are always trying to adapt to the tastes of each client, offering variety as much as possible.

Today we have gone one step further, adding the famous Stuffed Bombs, a sweet bread-based dessert, accompanied by a creamy filling known as pastry cream that leaves those who taste it delirious in flavor. This dessert is quite simple to make, its ingredients are easy to find; however, each baker has his way of doing it. We are still in practice to discover our own recipe.

Despite this, our pumps are already starting to trade; So today we have decided to share with our beloved community @businessactivity this dessert that, although it is still Venezuelan, always invites it to be tasted beyond our borders.




Importance of Stuffed Pumps in our bakery
Truchi Café is still taking small steps to position itself in the bakery market; That is why we always strive to provide quality in our products, as well as variety. This is one of the premises that has motivated us to start selling full pumps.

A dessert like this is an essential requirement in any bakery and it is one of the things that identifies us as Venezuelans. So much so that our customers have been asking us to carry them out more frequently and even place large orders from us.

So we can say that the importance that this dessert represents in our bakery begins to be A LOT, since we have begun to make larger quantities.

Which ones are its ingredientes?
As I had already told you, a filled bomb is composed of a soft and juicy sweet bread, which is made with a greater amount of butter and milk is even added to make it take the ideal texture for this dessert. In addition, sweet anise and cinnamon powder can be added to this dough (depends on taste) to give the bread more flavor.

On the other hand, there is the pastry cream, this consists of simple and easy-to-find ingredients, since these are mainly eggs, milk, sugar and cornstarch; which together achieve a mixture of incredible flavors, making this dessert a family favorite. Especially older adults.

How do you do it?

For the preparation of bread there is nothing different from what I already mentioned in previous publications about how to make a dough for bread except for the addition of milk, anise and cinnamon (remember that this is to everyone's taste). As for its cooking, there are two ways to do it; in oil and baked. Like everything, this will depend on the taste of each person. In my experience, most customers prefer it fried.




📎For the pastry cream, the first thing is to divide the ingredients to start with individual preparations; to do this, we divide the sugar and place it in the milk together with the vanilla to simmer.

📎On the other hand, we start by breaking the egg yolks a little and then adding the other amount of sugar and beating very well, until it turns a very light yellow, almost white.

📎Once the yolks are beaten, the cornstarch is added and mixed very well, until obtaining a cream with the yolks, sugar and cornstarch.

📎The next thing is to add this mixture to the milk that is on the fire and stir it with a paddle until it acquires a creamy consistency.






Some recommendations
The recommendations to make a good dough I have already given you in previous publications; that is why at this point we will focus on giving you some tips for a sensational pastry cream.

📎To make the yolks creamy when beating with the sugar, it is essential to beat them a little before adding the sugar.

📎The milk should not be boiled before adding the yolks; Well in doing so the yolks would make the mixture much thicker than expected.

📎To avoid creating lumps in the mixture, it is necessary to add the cornstarch to the yolks. This also achieves a better cooking of the cream.

📎The pastry cream should always be covered with transparent film, this prevents a cream from being created on the outside of the cream that can give it unwanted lumps.

📎To obtain a lighter cream with a better consistency, the ideal is to take it to the refrigerator even when it is hot.

📎This cream can be refrigerated for a maximum of 3 days. It is advisable to put it into use the same day it is prepared.
