Van Wilder

This film is a very positive for me. When I started watching, I was afraid it would be bad, but it wasn’t. It totally came to me. I already knew Tara Reid from American Pete and I think even Kal Penn is very good at the film.

Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) loves going to college. That’s why he refuses to finish and that’s why he’s already starting his seventh year within the ancient walls with the old and only goal: to avoid graduation and adult life by all means! There is nothing surprising in this, the captivating young man is the king of the university.

He organizes the best parties, he drinks the most, he’s respected by freshman guys and the girls lie (or kneel) at his feet. She loves scandal, loves the crazy atmosphere, is enthusiastic about seeing a lot of beer in one place and doesn’t protest against having the beer barrel tapped to her by the local beauty queen. Only teachers can’t stand it. They swear to get rid of it at all costs: they will be examined. And because the trouble is not alone, the young journalist of the university paper (Tara Reid) also comes on stage to harass the golden boy with his questions.
