My Town in Ten Pics - Bariga, LAGOS STATE. 23/10/2020
Hello fellow Steemians!
This is my first participation on this contest after it was announced by @steemblog. I got up as early as 7:00am today so that I could take some pictures of my Town to show you guys, and with that being said, let's jump right in!

My town Lagos State is a very popular city in Nigeria, it has always being every young lad dream to travel there, although not every part in Lagos is very beautiful, there are still some rural areas which are very trerrible, but lagos is the business heart of Nigeria, It is a very busy state when compared to other part of Nigeria. It is the largest city and chief port of modern Nigeria.
Below are some pictures I took around my town via my phone, though most of the pictures might not look very captivating and the reason is because of the mayhem that is happening in Nigeria (the ENDSARS protest), so I wasn't able to stand on the street for long to take pictures; I had to be very fast when taking pictures.

Oando Gas Station: This is one of the most popular gas stations in Lagos, it can be found in every road in Lagos.

More Mart Store: This is a store that is sitted opposite the Oando gas station, it is one of my go to place whenever I am sent on an errand to buy food stuff for the family, and this is because their goods are very cheap, you can easily get them at a very low price when compared to other stores around.

IE Connect: This is an office where we pay our electricity bills. It is the nearest of them all, and you can also charge your phone there when your're not at home.

Eva Adelaja Secondary School: This is an only girls secondary school, and also one of the best in my town. The school was founded in 1964 and was named after a woman called Mrs Eva Adebayo Adelaja, who was the founder. The school is over 49 yrs old if i am not mistaken, and it has a very long history and tales surrounding it.

Slot: This place is where phones, laptops, and some other mobile gadget are being sold. It is a very popular place, and this is because it was actually the first mobile gadget store that was built very close to my town.

Wema Bank: This is a very small bank, it is my go to place whenever other ATM's around are filled up with people. I really love this bank because it is always less crowdy and the customer service is 100%.
There are so many places in my town I would love to should you guys, like the Third Mainland bridge which is the 2nd longest bridge in Africa, and also the Super store - Justrite, which is everybody's go to shoping store in my town. Maybe in my next post, I will be sharing all of this with you guys.
