Irrespective of how new you are to part of the country, once you come across a milestone, your brain will authomatically be reset to recognize that the distance to your destination is not far.

Milestone is almost find on the high way.
It's a stone on the highway often with one or more board showing direction to places that are near. For instance, if you're travelling across the East West road of Rivers down to Akwa Ibom state, you will notice a milestone place on each open kilometer or mostly at the boundary of every regions.

Milestone uses kilometers (km) to declare the closeness of a point or place to the current one. Even if you're hungry and tired of sitting in the vehicle, once you sees the percentage of kilometer (km) written on the milestone, you'll be moved to adjust to the velocity of the car to reach the certain points.

Milestone becomes difficult to understand once the passengers are not mathematically inclined.

If you can calculate or determine the value of kilometer metabolism while in a journey, then there's no how someone can easily deceive you. Most times it's advisable we learn most of these things so that when we come across, inspite of the situation we find ourselves, we can manoeuver.

O	Over	Yes it's touchable, but every individual state build it in a way that if you want to touch it, it must be over your head, and so you have to climb either a ladder or a long wheel stool inorder to access it. So in summary, it's always above our head.
N	Navigator	Most of the most basic classification used to identify the specificity of it is the navigation bars.
E	Eco-friendly	Even if you are an introvert or extrovert, Milestone is eco-friendly, there's no stress
