Week SIX of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 16 is over!

What do they say? All good things come to an end.

This week’s contest stood out from the other weeks. As Karl Lagerfield said;

“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”

On numerous occasions, the team sat with wet eyes as your photos and the memories that go with them moved us. We thank you for keeping us entertained, not only in week six but all the other weeks as well.

Steemit Engagement Challenge: Selection process

During the six weeks, it was up to the community team to decide how they would select their weekly winners.

Of importance for the team was staying focused on our goals of being fair, transparent, and supportive of ENGAGEMENT.

How did we manage this? We looked at the following:.

1. Authors must vote and resteem the contest post
2. Authors must adhere to all the rules
3. Post must have received at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments from other authors
4. Authors must post good-quality posts
5. Authors must have shown active engagement with the posts of their fellow Steemians. Quantity and quality are key and NOT most engaged
6. All the members of the team had the right to nominate and vote for posts.

Before we get to the nominees, we want to mention the fact that we have seen some fantastic posts right through the contest. Unfortunately, most of these posts showed no or little engagement from the authors.
A tip from us: keep your unique engagement at 25+ at all times.
