I'd heard the whole "ethanol and solar cost more in oil than they will ever save in oil" a few times before but I was never convinced until watching this.
Wind and solar has NEVER replaced a coal or nuclear plant.
Coal is being replaced by "biomass" power plants, which BURN TREES and trash (which is far more devastating to the environment than coal.
Wind and solar are a ridiculous and horrifying (corporate) joke.
Not because it needs to happen because of food shortages. Things like that happen to let you know who is in control.

I do not know about solar. If its on your roof and walls that seems ok but in a field! not so much.
Not interested in Wind turbines ether.
Ethanol has had bad press, starting way back. Its an interesting story.
Brilliant fuel Ethanol, clean burning, you get a higher compression burn. Ford was making ethanol and other things with Hemp. That needed to be stopped I guess. I wonder what take Mr Moore would have on that Ford story and the subsequent banning of alcohol production.
