The diary game||25-04-2024|| Sunrise of gratitude, a day to remember

Some days stand out like vibrant threads against the backdrop of ordinary existence. One such day for me was when the sun seemed to shine a little brighter, and joy danced in the air. It is my best day—a memory etched into my heart forever.

Morning

I woke up early in the morning; birds were singing, and I stretched, feeling the warmth seep into my bones. Stepping outside, I witnessed the sunrise, its golden hues painting the sky. I checked on the leaves I had planted—they grew majestically, a testament to life’s resilience.

I was very hungry like someone who haven't eaten for the past 1 weeks, so i decided to do small exercise, trust me am not too good in that.

After my invigorating exercise routine,I drank 1 bottle water and icraved a warm bath to wash away the morning chill.

Refreshed, I prepared for work, donned my clothes, and left for work place. The commute took 45 minutes, and upon arrival, I found my boss absent. It was just me and my workmates, ready to tackle the day’s tasks.

Afternoon

But then, our boss surprised us. He arrived with an HP laptop, a gleam of excitement in his eyes. We greeted him, curious about the surprise. And there it was—the lucky recipient was me! He handed over the laptop, appreciating my honesty when I found money in the office and promptly returned it weeks ago. His gratitude overflowed as he gifted me the laptop, and I thanked him profusely.

This day is imprinted on my memory—the blend of gratitude, surprise, and joy. As I rushed home, eager to charge the laptop, fate played its hand: no electricity. But suddenly, NEPA(the power company) brought light!

My joy knew no bounds as I unpacked the laptop, plugged it in, and followed the manual’s advice: “Charge before use.”

And so, my day ended with a delicious meal I prepared beans and plantain . Simple pleasure that matters most is us being happy.

Before we can embrace happiness, we must do what is right, including being truthful at every moment of life. Let’s cherish the little things, appreciate the warmth of connection, and continue spreading joy.

Today was joyous, like a bright thread in the tapestry of life. Today started with the morning sunshine, chirping birds, and a refreshing cold breeze. Checking on my plants, I marveled at their growth as a symbol of resilience. The day took a surprising turn when my boss gifted me a laptop as a token of gratitude. Despite a power outage, I ended the day with a simple, joyful meal.
