Citizen Science: Project FeederWatch -- Week #11 Report 2021-2022 Season

This week's featured birds are a Downy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker and White-breasted Nuthatch.

I typically watch and count birds on Saturday and Sunday. This is my report for 22-23 January 2022.

Red-Bellied Woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus, ORDER: Piciformes, FAMILY: Picidae)

The Red-bellied Woodpecker is a regular at the peanut feeder.

Greetings @etcmike I fail to understand how you make approaches from above.

The back of my house is two stories above the ground. I am taking photos from a window on the second story of my house. Thus looking down at the bird feeders and the tree.
