Good day Steemit Philippines and to all my countrymen! I hope all is well this day despite of every trials that we faced.

Today, I share you an event that happens in my life this day.

Since today is Monday and back to work again the first thing that I did when I woke up in the morning lately, I did my daily routine like drinking a glass of water, brushing my teeth, taking a bath and eating my breakfast then go to work.

We went inside in the one of the company in Cebu Light Industrial Park, Knowles Corporation, to conduct a demonstration on how to use fire hose, fire extinguisher, fire hydrant and teaching them fire safety when there is a fire accident.

I am the one who handled the Emergency Rescue Team of the said company with the assistance of my co-worker and teach them the basic handling of fire hose. We did it for everyone’s security inside the company for a better and successful in extinguishing fire.

We also demonstrate to them the proper carrying and exact usage of the fire extinguisher. And regarding in this matter for the information of my steemit friends I will give you some reminders on how to operate the fire extinguisher. Y'all remember the word PASS:

• Pull the pin. Hold the extinguisher with the nozzle pointing away from you and release the locking mechanism faster.
• Aim low. Point the extinguisher at the base of the fire.
• Squeeze the lever slowly and evenly.
• Sweep the nozzle carefully from side-to-side.

On the other hand, we go to where the fire hydrant is located and show to them on how to open it and connect the fire hose for unlimited water supply. The fire hydrant has a pressurized water flow, we must take good care of opening it and be alert all the time.

And lastly before we go for lunch, we share to them the basic guidelines of fire safety for what we've learned from our work to protect and serve the people especially our constituents.

And again, for the information of everybody I list down the basic guidelines of fire safety for y'all to have an additional knowledge in case when there is fire accident.

• Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside living room, bedrooms and outside sleeping areas.
• Test smoke alarms every four weeks or month.
• Talk with all family your members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan every six months or twice a year.
• If a fire occurs in your own home, GET OUT, STAY OUTSIDE and CALL FOR HELP.

After all, we go to the company canteen for lunch time because they preparing a food for us and we eat together. And after eating, we go back to our quarter and rest.
