Content etiquette
Content etiquette is the ideal and right way of creating a post on steemit and it should fulfil the purpose of steemit since they are paying for the your knowledge and your creativity.
Steemit is based on the proof of brain which means that the fact that you are rewared for original ideas, knowledge you share using your brain. If you are to add someone else's content to your work it is advisable to source or cite the person content.
What is Plagiarism
Another word for plagiarism is fraud. It means taking someone else's content as your own and sharing it without referencing the person. These includes idea's, knowledge and even images. And if this happens it violates steemit etiquette of rewarding original contents.
And if for any reason you are to use any part of someone else's content or images you need to cite the source.
Types of plagiarism
Below show the different ways plagiarism can occur;
Coping of someone else's content or image without citing the source from which it is been copied.
Editing of someone elses work by just changing a few words or paragraphs is also plagiarism.
Rephrasing someone else's article that is not originally yours is also a type of plagiarism
If there is any need or reason to use someone else's originals content you must definitely cite the sources of the work.
