Achievement2 @essybrandy task: Basic Security Steem

I am writing this post to prove that I have read all through and understood the basic security measures on steem and how to protect my keys from third parties.

These basic security information on steem has to do with how safe I keep my generated private keys from hackers.
And it is best I save it offline as soon as it is created.
The keys include:

POSTING KEYS: these keys are used for publishing a post, comment, to edit, upvote, or down vote, resteem, contents of other steemians, following and unfollowing people or accounts, and finding mute accounts.

ACTIVE KEYS: They are used for transferring token or funds, to power up or down transactions, converting steem dollars voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar (profile picture) placing a market order creat user name into the blockchain and steem BD conversion.

MEMO KEYS: Memo Keys are used for; encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring fund.
And also viewing an encrypted message.

OWNERS KEYS: Since it is only ment for when necessary, I can use it to reset my active and posting key to recover my account; declining vote rights.
Therefore, I store it in an offline device or book etc.

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit ?
Answer : Yes, I have retrieved all my private keys on steemit. I did that after creating my account and it was successfully. There was a link file containing my private keys requesting me to download which I did!

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Answer: Yes I know each of the key functions and restrictions.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer: I have made a provision to save it in my offline hard copy dairy book and also copy it is my flash drive.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer: Sure; by clicking on transfer button, insert the receiver’s username, input my private active keys and send.

This is how it is done:
Go to your blog and click on wallet,

That’s the wallet painted with yellow

Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the left hand side of the wallet page,

Click on sign in

Enter your active key
And click on login

When I login my active key

Click on 0.000 steem and choose transfer on the drop down menu

Enter your username
Enter the steem user account name you want to transfer steem to and click on NEXT

Enter the amount of steem you which to put in

After that, click on OK button

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Answer: Yes. Let me demonstrate how to power up:
By clicking on wallet then I clicked on my 17.912 steem.
When a drop down menu box appear, i click on power up.

Click on power up

Next I put in the amount of steem I want to power up and click on power up.

Then I enter active or owner key to complete transfer and sign in.

When I inserted my active key

Next I confirmed transfer to vesting and click on the OK button.

So when I do all this, it immediately converted to steem power.
