Hello Steemians,

1.jpg

Completed the task achievement1 about Self-introduction, Achievement2 about the basic security of the steem account, and I will continue Achievement3 which is the Code of Content Ethics that discusses 'What is Plagiarism'

What can users post to Steemit?

Steemit is a social media, or social networking and blogging, based on the blockchain (block chain) system of digital currencies (cryptocurrencies). Steemit is a social media platform that is free to use by anyone. You can express yourself freely on your account. You can also write or be creative as you please. Anything you feel you can write and create. Yes, about later after your post is published on Steemit it will be the reader's decision to read it, comment, vote, or even give a flag.

Steemit really appreciates the work of everyone who posts on his platform. Each post of his own work is not a copy of the work of others will be given a gift. The gift can be an income for stemians who honestly write their own work using their own thoughts or their own ideas not taking the work of others or with the language of trending now plagiarized the work of others, When taking quotes or plagiarizing the work of others must attach the source.

Why do we, as steemit users, need to write down our sources?

Appreciating the work of others is ethical in creating a quality work, therefore never plagiarize so that our work is appreciated by others. For me the logic is actually very simple, as the saying goes "if you don't want to be hurt then never hurt anyone else". If you hurt when your work is done by someone else then others are the same as we feel. Or vice versa, if we want to be appreciated by others then appreciate others. So if our work wants to be appreciated by others, then appreciate the work of others.

Plagiarism is a shortcut for someone to create a work by imitating, copy paste the work of others in the form of writing, images, essays, photos and so on without mentioning the source or origin of where the quote was taken.

How to cite the source of the writing

If you want to do a quote in the form of writing or images of someone else's work must use the sign "(quotation)" and in the format using >markup. In creating the source taken must use the following steps:

Open the link to
be made
a source And then in copy paste link Type the opening tile brackets ([)and type Source and close with closing brackets(]), example :[Source]
Create opening parentheses and fill with the link that has been copied paste. Example: (http......)
For example :[Source](http;in full
content of the link source) Steem Code of Ethics

For steemian who diligently post all things his activities must have a code of ethics in steemit. Ethically reflects that we are civilized and manners. So if we take the writing of other content will be detected, especially in steemit technology is very sophisticated, even though our posts copy paste from social media. There are several things that become a code of ethics in bersteemit:

Do not
commit plagiarism In prohibited posting that is
negative, hate speech
that can make
divisions Do not overdo it in posting his writing Do not buy votes, and so forth So the task achievement3 that I have done, about ethics in making unique and interesting content hopefully useful for myself and others. And I have read and understood Steemit Etiquette in the steemit community and will do my best to use it.
