Movie Review || AVATAR : The Way Of Water
On this occasion I discuss a film that I really like, namely Avatar the way of water, this film is very exciting and can make the audience curious about the next story. Then let's just discuss it straight away.
15 years ago, after the victory of the Navy, they succeeded in expelling the troops of Jack Sally's order. The turuk macto is a former Marine who now lives permanently as a Navy man. Well, this is what ultimately prompted the Order to create a new army, namely the Avatar Navy troops, which have the memory and consciousness as well as the memories of the fallen soldiers. Previously their memories were stored before they died via a chipset. These avatars are not physically controlled by humans but are instead new Nevi bodies that are infused with human memory and consciousness thus making them fully formed beings.
Through this project, RDA revives the commander of the RDA troops who he killed himself along with 11 of his men who also died in the previous battle. Here they only have one mission, namely to kill Jack Sally so that there are no more threats that can hinder Di-A's plans to control Pandora. At one point, when his troops were carrying out their mission, they succeeded in capturing Spider, Jack's adopted son, who turned out to be the biological son of the RDA commander, from a pilot named PS Koro who died during the Three of Souls attack because Jack was afraid that Spider would reveal his whereabouts and Jack finally decided to give up the position of head. tribe into the water and took his family to hide in the water tribe.

They are creatures who have intelligence equivalent to the navy tribe which allows them to form their own culture, including the tool Coon way where tulkuns are prohibited from carrying out all kinds of murder and if they violate it, the tulkun will be exiled from their group.
Well, this happened to Payakan Tulkun who was friends with the flea child of Jack Sally. They could be said to be similar because they were both outcasts in their group where Low Up was ostracized by Navi in the Omatkaya tribe because their physical characteristics were the same as humans, namely having 5 fingers and also his father's eyebrows were also considered a failure compared to his first child, Meteom. imagine being exiled from the tulkun group because he was accused of murder when he was young. He once saw youth paratul attack the tulkun hunters from the RDA who killed his mother. Payakan where this battle ended with the RDA troops succeeding in killing all the Tulkuns and also their Navy brothers except Imagine who managed to escape.
From here, most of them ended up being considered murderers by the Tulkun group because they accidentally saw the Tulkuns and their brothers being killed by the RDA troops, which ultimately made it difficult to have to be exiled and live alone outside the group. The hunters from Ardi-e themselves are actually hunting tulkuns for one thing, namely Amrita. In the previous film, RDA only focused on targeting the unotanium mining resource on Pandora as renewable energy on earth. Amrita is a yellow liquid from the nervous system of the Tulkun's brain which is taken because it has the benefit of stopping aging in the human body.
Amrita is the way for humans to live forever. Short story, a fight broke out between the Jack and MeetKaina families with the RDA troops and Rekom troops, in the process Jack Nete's eldest son had to die when he tried to save Sirea and his brother. Jack and Neytiri managed to kill the soldiers one by one until they were the last people who were then defeated by Jack and after the battle was over, Jack and Neytiri were threatened with drowning because the Ardi-E ship was starting to sink.
Luckily, Kiri and Lo'ak finally came to get them, but on the other hand, Spider actually saved Quaritch who almost drowned. Even though here Spider knows that Quaritch is an enemy of his adoptive parents. Spider also saves Quaritch because he has a blood relationship between Spider and Claris. In this film, the bond between Spider and Claris begins to develop when Waris asks Spider for help to teach him how to live as a Navy man. If we pay attention to how Quaritch starts to change from a cruel and cold figure to a more humane and has empathy for Spider.
Spider is his son, this is even more clearly shown by Naytiri threatening Quaritch to let go of Kiri by using Spider as a threat. Quaritch prefers to let go of Kiri so that Spider can be safe, which he wouldn't have done if Spider wasn't his child. Spider's presence makes Quaritch softer because even though however Spider is his son. Seeing Quaritch who was willing to abandon his mission to save Spider made Spider have empathy, it's not surprising that now Spider chooses to save him even though Spider has Quaritch's empathy.
Here Spider still can't trust Quaritch because Spider himself has seen how cruel Quaritch is when he ordered his men to kill and burn down the house of the Navy tribe. While looking for Jack's whereabouts, when Quaritch asked Spider to go with him, Spider actually roared at Quaritch and chose to return to Jack's family. When Spider returned to Jack's family, Neytiri didn't hesitate to kill Spider to show how Neytiri didn't consider Spider as part of her family at all.
This incident is likely to cause trauma for the Spider. He knows that this is dangerous because of the potential for spiders to distrust him and even Jack and his family. This will clearly make the distance between Spider and Naitiri even further and this time it will not only arise from Neytiri's attitude where previously Neytiri always didn't consider Spider but after this it will also appear from her attitude that Spider will definitely be traumatized by this child towards Sinar herself from a distance and This trauma gives the potential that the relationship between Spider and his adoptive parents will set up further conflicts that will occur within Jack Sally's family.
Apart from that, another problem that will arise is about Spider's action in saving Quaritch and this was not told to Jack's family. If Neytiri found out that Spider saved Quaritch, you could make Neytiri angry with Spider. In fact, not just Neytiri, this could also have an impact on Jack, even on Jack's other children. Jack could have been exiled or thrown away from his family due to the fact that Quaritch was the reason their first child died.
It's a shame and if they find out about Spider's actions, they will feel that their struggle in the final battle of this film was in vain because their strongest enemy can still survive and once again they will have to face Rich's collar again, which also unlocks their great potential. will lose troops or other members of their families.
Jack's struggle this time is still very long to discuss. In fact, this will be really boring, yes, again having to fight the same people from the first Avatar until now. The first several factors are the child factor which touches Quaritch's instincts as a father and maybe later he will understand more about how parents struggle to protect their children. From here he can understand why Jack and Neyt are jealous and die to protect their family and the second is the Avatar's body which Quaritch owns it now, even though his body was created through the recom program, the main point is that Quaritch's body is still a Navy body.
A Navy certainly has its own connection with Ewa and is able to feel the connectivity of Ewa's power both to nature and to the entire Navy nation. This connection will make Quaritch feel a kind of natural instinct from his body that he is part of the Navy nation and of course this will encourage conflict within him. .
This conflict within himself will be the beginning for him to learn more deeply about the realm of Pandora and his connection with Ewa and the more he understands everything, his mind and heart will open and perhaps will turn to defend Pandora and the Navy nation. Quaritch and Spider, who are his children, seem to be helping him to deepen his connection with the world of Pandora because Spider already knows everything about Pandora more deeply.

There will definitely come a greater power from the human side to defeat the Navy and this will no longer come from Quaritch, especially in this mission he could be said to have failed. Maybe he will be thrown away or deactivated from his mission because yes, he has already failed twice to get the pendora. The general on Ardi-e's side must also have other people who are stronger to face Jack and the Navi. Threats to the Mateina tribe finally decided to move with his family but Tonowari actually accepted them and even made them stay in this tribe. Jack and his family were considered part of the Matteina because they were buried in Spiritre and had become part of their ancestors.
How Jack and his family will be taken to a new region in Pandora which is inhabited by other tribes but don't forget MeetKaina as the center of the story because Jack and his family are already part of MattKaina, especially since the Avatar film will be called Rider where the Tulkun we know is closely related to the Meethaina tribe. The threat doesn't stop until the end of this film, we know that now they have a new focus where they didn't come to Pandora just to extract resources here, but now their agenda is to make Pandora a new human colony in outer space.
This happens because the earth can no longer be lived in due to the scarcity of resources so humans inevitably have to look for a new place to live and one of the Pandora things here that has been explored earlier by the RDA organization is that it will determine the fate of humans in the future, if they fail. Humans will die on planet Earth, but if they succeed, humans will be able to survive by moving to Pandora, so it's not surprising that the RDA will continue to fight with the Navy and do everything they can to create a Pandora colony.
In the first film, to do this, Jack needs the help of the entire Navi nation to unite against Ardi-e. Pandora and persuade them to join the Navy alliance which will fight to expel humans on Pandora. In the first Avatar film, we know that the Omatics failed to transfer Grace's consciousness to her avatar's body because she died too soon, but luckily Grace's consciousness finally met Ewa. Well, it's possible that in the process of their interaction, Grace's energy which should have become one with Ewa here might be used the same way. Ewa to create a new life with a special concept of luxury that is born through her body. which means making the animal directly the left father. because animals are directly involved in the birth process of Kiri. This could make Kiri the incarnation of Ewa, who looks like she will have a very big role in the future, namely as a savior for the Navy, whose role will be very crucial in defeating RDA.
