[Eng-Esp] zebra cake - Torta cebra.

The weekend we wanted to eat cake, so I made a zebra cake. This cake is called that because it is scratched like zebras.

El fin de semana estábamos antojados de comer torta, así que hice una torta cebra. Esta torta se llama así porque queda rayada como las cebras.

Ingredients.

3 cups of flour.
2 cups of sugar.
2 cups of liquid milk.
½ cups of oil.
4 eggs.
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder.

Ingredientes.

3 tazas de harina.
2 tazas de azúcar.
2 tazas de leche líquida.
½ tazas de aceite.
4 huevos.
3 cucharadas de cacao en polvo.

Preparation.
First beat the eggs with the sugar until it becomes creamy. Then we add the oil and we alternate adding the flour and milk. When the mixture is ready, we divide it into 2 equal parts and add cocoa to one of them.

Preparación.

Primero se baten los huevos con el azúcar hasta que se ponga cremoso. Luego agregamos el aceite y vamos alternando en agregar la harina y la leche. Cuando ya tenemos lista la mezcla, la dividimos en 2 partes iguales y a una de ellas le agregamos el cacao.

Then comes the pretty part of the cake. We put a spoon of white mixture on the tray and then in the center we add a spoon of cocoa mixture.

Luego viene la parte bonita de la torta. Echamos en la bandeja una cuchara de mezcla blanca y luego en el centro le echamos una cuchara de mezcla de cacao.

We keep alternating like that until all the mixing is finished. And it would stay this way.

Seguimos alternando de esa manera hasta que se termine toda la mezcla. Y quedaría de esta manera.

Finally, it is put in the oven and left to bake for about half an hour.

Finalmente, se mete en el horno y se deja hornear aproximadamente media hora.

At other times the stripes have been better and it looks more beautiful, but the important thing is the flavor and this was delicious.

En otras oportunidades han quedado mejor las rayas y se ve más bonita, pero lo importante es el sabor y esta quedó deliciosa.
