Smiles on your parents' faces

Signs you are heading right

A baby in your wife's belly

A sign of hope--a living proof

That life goes on, regardless.

A rainy cloud approaching

Your homeland, full of promises

Of wealth--of a good harvest.

A shooting star in the early night

While you and all your kin

Outside, admire the full moon

Now, you all close your eyes,

Make wishes, Wait, And see.

Meanwhile, it disappears

That feeling in your bones

That something will go wrong.

All signs say otherwise.
