Maybe you've heard the term ikigai, but you don't know what it means. In this post I'll explain it briefly and suggest how to apply it to the content you publish.

REALIZATION

I explain these pictures to you. They are symbols in Japanese language. The ikigai is a combination of these symbols. The first one, IKI on the left hand side, means LIVE. The one on the right hand side, GAI means, REALIZATION. It can be said that ikigai is realized living. The ikigai allows us to feel we have a reason to live, to have a purpose to get up every day. **Do you feel fulfilled, do you have a reason and purpose for living?

The subject of ikigai is very simple to understand, but at the same time somewhat complex to explain and even more complex to find. But it is extremely transcendental (literally) to discover it and live by it. This post is not intended to guide you to discover it nor to get philosophical, we'll leave that for later. My desire and objective is to make you see how necessary it is for you to find it as a content creator and, in case you don't have it or are not completely clear about it, to have a reason to create, to have a purpose to publish. That is, if you want to be a featured content creator.

The ikigai is composed of your passion, your mission, your vocation and your profession. When deciding to create content, I recommend you combine these four aspects. I will briefly explain each one:

-Passion It's what you love to do. What you spend your time doing. That which you enjoy doing immeasurably.
-Mission. It's that sense of purpose, of what you came into this world to do. How do you want to leave this world when you die? If you have the answer, that's your mission. It's your contribution to the world.
-Vocation. It's what you're born to do without much effort, but don't confuse it with passion. Okay? Vocation has a lot to do with service, with doing something without getting paid. Ask yourself, could you do that for free, just for the pure pleasure of contributing and serving?
-Profession. It is just the opposite of vocation. Sometimes profession is combined with vocation, ideally, but it doesn't always happen. Profession is that career or trade that you do for pay in return.

See you in part two to find out how I apply these four aspects to my content creation.

Thank you for sharing this useful content friend. You have explained two very important concepts here, I'll spare some time to learn about them, i think they'll be useful

Hi,
I think your post is an interesting take on the concept and interpretation of Ikigai
I feel we as content creators have different goals and with reference to this concept it would be interesting to see how we fit thinks in the big canvas of life and experience a more realized living.

Hello friend, interesting post, to me it seems to be a great concept. I think we all have a little bit of each concept when we create, some of us see platforms as our craft or passion, I think it is necessary to know what motivates us to move forward, it is necessary to know ourselves more. Greetings.
