Indian Olympic Medal Winners to Get Free Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)

We all know the Olympics is going on and for those of us who doesn't know because we expect the Olympics to happen last year but because of the pandemic the Tokyo Olympics was moved to this year that is why it is going on right now in Japan.

That is why an Indian based cryptocurrency exchange platform had come out to say that it has plan to open digital asset to local athletes who won medals at the Tokyo Olympics.

Bitbns which is the name of the platform which has promise to give those athletes that won a medal both Bitcoin and Ethereum, The exchange will reportedly grant around $2,700 in crypto for gold medal winners.

According to reports the Olympians from india who won a medal will be receiving cryptocurrency as gifts that is if they manage to win a medals at the tournament in Tokyo.

Bitbns is the crypto trading platform that will be offering this gifts to the athletes, The first athletes that will get cryptocurrency exposure for free are the winners Mirabai Chanu and PV Sindhu. One of them acquired a silver medal in 49 kg women’s weightlifting while the other won a bronze in the women’s singles badminton at the Tokyo Olympics.

Bitbns which is the Indian based cryptocurrency platforms plans to release the crypto asset in an (sip) account to the athletes with $2,700 worth of crypto asset, $1,350 for silver medal winners, and $675 for bronze medalists. The crypto will be transfered into their account after they must have completed the (KYC) norms.

According to researches which are recently it seems indians are in love with digital assets, people from India increased their digital asset investments from $200 million in 2020 to $40 billion for the first six months of this year, indicating that the crypto demand in that country keeps growing.
