I think the blogging option is something really very handy for most, we all have things to tell, the important thing is that we develop that possibility to express ourselves, and only practice and research will give it.

On the other hand, all the options you mentioned are viable, but for example trading, is very high risk, and requires a lot of training for it.
The scorum.blog is for sport related post and there is another scorum for all related activities.
