Mental toughness is a measure of individual resilience and confidence that may predict success in sport, education and the workplace.Defined by Wikipedia

Mental fortitude is the patience and perseverance to push forward through hard times, mental fortitude gives us more success and more reasons to celebrate than we can figure out most of the time. In order to develop mental fortitude, we can take a look at these conditions and work towards improving them.

Get more comfortable with interacting with strangers

Some of us do not like to meet with new friends we are just very comfortable with being around our own circle and meeting new people with a positive spirit could bring us more wins and more success subsequently.

Appreciate the little wins.

Often because of the extremely high desires for big things we completely ignore the need to appreciate the little steps we have been able to attain, when we are able to appreciate the little steps in life we have acquired, it builds mental fortitude the more. When you attain a height that is worthy of mention it is required that you celebrate yourself for that little win but it also comes with a note of not being too comfortable around there.

Train your thoughts to become better.

Our thoughts are extremely powerful and are a very strong force towards our success, strengthening our thoughts produces us with more power for us to perform better. The power that a positive thought has over our life is extremely great and strong to the point of driving our lives in a safe path.

Focus on the steps to accomplish goals.

It is a really good thing to have dreams and plans for our lives but it is even much more important to have realistic goals that will help us get to the point of actualizing those goals. Having an action plan to get the achievement of goals often increases mental fortitude a lot.

Stop blaming yourself too much for your mistakes.

Mistakes are regularly bound to occur and it is through mistakes that we obtain lessons to become a better version of ourselves but if we make mistakes and we allow that stop us from trying any other new thing then we will delay our access to mental fortitude that way.

Work on taking care of yourself.

Reminding yourself everyday about how much you deserve to be loved, taken care of and respected is an important weapon for mental fortitude. Everyday tell yourself about how much you should be taken care of.

Hi @ojerinde, training our mind, in a variety of ways is one way to ensure we make better use of our skills, as well as develop them further.
It is the first thing we must train and strengthen to achieve faster and better progress.
