There has been a halt in development ever since the split, so it's good to see a new initiative to encourage developers again...$500,000 per year is a great investment too...

    It is true, although some efforts have been made to maintain the dynamic of publications and content creation, an investment is needed to encourage developers to bring their ideas to this platform, I think that better times are coming in Steemit.
