In recent years, metaverse has become very popular in the virtual world, even the creators of Facebook have called metaverse the future system for the virtual world or the internet.
Metaverse is a virtual world that is a replica of the real world where everyone can interact, of course in 3D, as well as other things like trading and even shops or other sales that I heard about from other people.
In this virtual world there are various things such as social media and games that support the metaverse, and cryptocurrency which is the most important for me, because currently I really like cryptocurrency.
Virtual reality is a technology that allows users to experience entering a completely artificial virtual environment.
An example of a game that supports the metaverse is the Pokemon Go game where users use their cellphones to search for characters in the game by walking in the real world following the directions in the game.
Building a virtual world requires a variety of 3D technologies, real-time software, and blockchain-based decentralized financial instruments, now known as cryptocurrencies. Factors such as the level of data integration (interoperability) between virtual worlds, data portability, governance, and user interface will depend on how the Metaverse operates.
Examples of Metaverse include NFTs (non-fungible tokens), cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, as well as online video games such as Fortnite and Minecraft. In Fortnite, users can create avatars, collect virtual currency, and purchase in-game items.
So, basically, the virtual world is similar to the real world, but requires tools such as the internet, applications, and devices such as headsets and VR/AR glasses.
