Taking the first step to resolve a conflict

Hello friends, today I want to reflect on the importance of staying close and connected with our loved ones, family and friends.

With the day to day activities it is possible that distancing is generated because the focus is centered on the different activities, discussions can also be generated in the family, friendships, in the so it is advisable to maintain constant communication, and not wait until the last minute to resolve conflicts and enjoy every moment to the fullest.

Nobody escapes from having differences with their partner, family or friends, the important thing is to resolve the differences to maintain the union and healthy relationships.

Sometimes it is important to evaluate relationships because depending on it, we will put all the effort to maintain them over time, otherwise we will seek to move away because it does not contribute positively.

I focus on this point, since many families can remain distant and angry for a long time because pride, anger, resentment prevails over love and union so they stop sharing many moments and perhaps if you look for a reason it turns out to be small things that grow over time without a justification of importance by the fact of not being solved at the right time.

Therefore, it is important to reflect and recognize when a mistake is made and seek to solve conflicts, to get closer to others to stay united and with good relationships.

If you intend to resolve the conflict and take the first step, it is advisable to think about what you want to express and find the way to do it, since you must start from a sincere conversation, where you openly express what you feel or think about a given situation, being empathetic, so as to also understand the reasons for the actions or attitudes of the other person.

To seek to converse with the other person is not only to express the cause of the discomfort, it is also to actively listen to the other person, to give him/her the opportunity to express him/herself without interruptions or judgments.

You can not control or know how the other person may react and manage their emotions so you must also take into account that you must be willing to accept the reactions of the other person and not be very demanding expectations, even if you have the best willingness to solve the problem.

Interesting choice of topic. It's never to late to learn about ways of resolving confict situations. After all - until day we die we will face such a times and challenging moments.

It's especially difficult when someone is using 'silent treatment' as a tool of punishment. Wouldn't you agree?
