Slay the Spire: Daily First Run #5 - Hoarding Mind Blasts

Greetings, travelers.

Back for today's Daily First Run, again doing the Daily Challenge! Here are the modifiers:

• Today's challenge is with the most difficult character in my opinion, the Defect, but that is also a really fun one;

• All Star is a tricky Modifier, because its quality depends on the quality of the cards you get. This run, I got Trip, Mind Blast, Dramatic Entrance+, The Bomb and Dark Shackles;

• Hoarder is a really unique Modifier, since it really limits the cards you can actually take in your deck, because of its adding of two extra copies property. However, I used it in my advantage to get more cards in my deck for the Mind Blasts to deal more damage at the start of combat, and also trying to add mostly card draw to just cycle out the deck.

• Binary was definetely a detrimenral Modifier, since adding cards is really powerful and having one less choice really hurts.

^{Philosopher's Stone was a really strong relic to get, because having more Energy allowed me to Mind Blast more at the start of every combat.}

^{Bag of Marbles increased a lot my damage at the start of each combat by applying Vulnerable to all enemies.}

I eventually just played around dealing tons of damage in the first turn, and after that trying to cycle the whole deck back in order to Mind Blast some more; what a fun run!
