The Daily Food Shopping Game|8-05-2024|(week no.16)

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a a good day. It's nice to be here today to publish my post on shopping game contest brought to us by @lirvic (thank you). This contest has got me having fun with it.

Today, I had to make food since my food at home finished. So, I got dressed and stepped out, took a bike and got to the market. The market is not so far from my house. It's a little token but you cannot trek down there , so you need the use of bikes to get there.

The market is a place where you find a lot of items, ranging from leaves, meat, condiments and so on. There are sellers that sit besides their table to sell. The seller can be a young girl, an elderly woman, a young boy. You won't see any elderly man selling anything in this market.

I usually shop here twice or three times in a week depending on when I need food items that I can't get close by the house. Or if I have a pressing need for an item, I simply take a bike and enter this market. You don't get to purchase everything in a place, you have to walk around and get what you want.

The sellers here are somehow friendly from my own experience, although I see people complain about how sellers treat them. You'll also see hawkers, most are kids who are helping their guardians to make small money. Mostly for their upkeep or school fees or to buy something for them.

The items I purchased today was for soup. The prices of things are actually on the high side, like the things I bought a week ago, the price has increased but we have to survive and adjust to it. The items I purchased today were; palm oil, okro, garri, Maggi, adusa leaf, crayfish, onions, pepper, periwinkle, stockfish and meat.

These are the few items I purchased at this market, it rained so I didn't really enjoy it because everywhere was swampy. But I had to shop.
