For a Christmas brunch, this almond-studded Dutch pastry is one of my favorites.

The center is filled with delicious orange zest and almond paste. That is covered with flaky, crispy pastry and fried till golden.

To speed up the preparation, use frozen puff pastry and feel free to top with a thin layer of raspberry jam. It will truly pop as a result!
