Travel to the coldest city in the world

The name of the city is Oimiakon. The coldest city in the world is located in the Sakha region of Russia. Sakha is 20 miles southwest of Tomato from the Kalima Highway in Siberia. At present about 500 people live in Oimiakon. In winter it is dark for about 21 hours. January is the coldest month, with an average temperature of 46 degrees Celsius. The village of Oimiakon is also known as Paul of Cold.

Due to the extreme cold, no crops are grown there. The lowest temperature recorded in 1933 was 8 degrees Celsius. The people there witnessed this terrible winter, yet their lives did not stop.
