1000 GIORNI DI STEEM - Pappe e Relax! 02/08/2023 - Giorno 106
Today, as the title suggests, we gave ourselves a day off, a nice "eat" and some healthy shopping too!
A wonderful day indeed!
This will be a post mainly focused on food in which I will show you some very appetizing pictures!
But first a brief summary.
This morning I woke up with several orders on my PC, after having fulfilled them all I realized that I had practically finished the products; I'm waiting for the supplies that should have already arrived, but I'm a little late.
Obviously I certainly didn't get discouraged, things are going well and, all in all, with only the morning sales I have practically raised a week's salary from the old job; so I thought it was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the results obtained and to relax a bit.
Time to settle down and with my beloved Mogliettina we left for Medmea, a restaurant for truck drivers half an hour's drive from Reggio.
As per the title, we also indulged in a nice tour of the mall and a bit of shopping to recharge our batteries in total relaxation!
That's it, I think now is the time to leave room for images...
What you see are the appetizers; Reny had an Italian platter while I opted for a prawn cocktail... I love it!
This is the first one I had, tagliatelle with mushrooms and speck, with a cream made with cream and nduja; the portion was about 500 grams and maybe even more, I couldn't finish it but the truck drivers in the restaurant were making out similar dishes as if nothing had happened!
My wife instead opted for a nice grilled meat, also plentiful but I remembered to take the picture after she had already started eh eh!
To conclude, a nice tiramisu and a coffee... I forgot to take a picture of the dessert, just know that it was phenomenal!
It was just a beautiful day; after lunch as mentioned above we had a nice walk around the shopping center in the area since Reny had to buy some clothes; on this occasion we identified the new coffee machine that we will probably give ourselves for Christmas and the laptop that I will have to buy as soon as possible since I need it for work.
Well for today I'll stop here; tonight we won't have dinner because we are full "to the stopper" but we will end the day as it began by dedicating ourselves to the national sport of "divaning"!

Oggi come da titolo ci siamo regalati una giornata di vacanza, una bella "mangiata" e anche del sano shopping!
Una splendida giornata davvero!
Questo sarà un post principalmente incentrato sul cibo nel quale Ti mostrerò alcune immagini molto appetitose!
Prima però un breve riassunto.
Stamattina mi sono svegliato con parecchi ordini sul pc, dopo averli evasi tutti mi sono reso conto di avere praticamente finito i prodotti; sto aspettando le scorte che dovrebbero essere già arrivate, sono però un po' in ritardo.
Ovviamente non mi sono certo fatto prendere dallo sconforto, le cose proseguono bene e, tutto sommato, con le sole vendite della mattina ho tirato su praticamente lo stipendio di una settimana del vecchio lavoro; ho pensato quindi che fosse un ottima occasione per festeggiare i risultati ottenuti e per rilassarsi un po'.
Il tempo di sistemarci e con la mia amata Mogliettina siamo partiti alla volta di Medmea, trattoria per camionisti a mezz'ora di macchina da Reggio.
Come da Titolo altre alla mangiata luculliana ci siamo anche concessi un bel giro al centro commerciale e un po' di shopping per fare una ricarica totale di relax!
Questo è quanto, credo che ora sia venuto il momento di lasciare spazio alle immagini...
Quelli che vedi sono gli antipasti; Reny ha preso un tagliere all'italiana mentre io ho optato per un cocktail di gamber... adoro!
Questo è il primo che ho preso io, tagliatelle con funghi e speck, con una crema fatta con panna e nduja; la porzione era di circa 500 grammi e forse anche più, non sono riuscito a finirla ma i camionisti presenti nel locale facevano fuori piatti simili come se niente fosse!
Mia moglie invece ha optato per una bella grigliata di carne, anche questa abbondante ma mi sono ricordato di scattare la foto dopo che aveva già iniziato eh eh!
Per concludere un bel tiramisù e un caffè... mi sono dimenticato di fare la foto al dolce, sappi però che era fenomenale!
E' stata proprio una bella giornata; terminato il pranzo come detto sopra abbiamo fatto un bel giro per il centro commerciale della zona visto che Reny doveva comprare dei vestiti; con l'occasione abbiamo individuato la nuova macchina del caffè che probabilmente ci regaleremo per Natale ed il Pc portatile che invece dovrò comprare quanto prima visto che mi necessita per lavoro.
Bene per oggi mi fermo qui; stasera non ceneremo perché siamo pieni "a tappo" però concluderemo la giornata così come è iniziata dedicandoci allo sport nazionale il "divaning"!

E' un locale per camionisti e dal lunedì al sabato sera le porzioni sono giganti, per i primi parliamo di circa 500 grammi di pasta, forse tra pasta e condimento anche di più!
Io sono campione internazionale di divaning! Questo fine settimana però niente... ho lottato praticamente fino ad ora per riparare il pc... si è rotto venerdì sera e solo ora sono riuscito a ripristinare tutto, considera che avrò dormito un paio di ore stanotte.
Non ho fatto nemmeno a tempo a scrivere il post... racconterò domani di questa mia avventura eh eh!
