A change of scenery.
Change of scenery people have different views on what it means.
Some people cannot sit in one place and are constantly looking for something new while others happily sit on a chair in front of a table that stands in the same place in the room year after year at their computer and happily does what he has done many times before,
I guess I am one of those conservatives who can be happy with what he is doing and would dream of narrowing the scope of his activities but this does not always work out.
I remember with a smile my parents who rearranged the furniture in the apartment twice a year.
They were tired of seeing the same thing, and I knew that the time would come when I would have to move cabinets and sofas again and drill new holes in the concrete to screw in the screws that would hold the bookshelves.
Something similar happened in the garden, there were critical changes from year to year and only the trees that took root did not move around the space of the garden lol.
I'm probably a conservative and if I like something I'll be glad to see it every day and I won't get bored.
But sometimes in some cases, someone or something makes you feel like you are in a dark underground passage where apart from a draft there is nothing new and you have to look for a way out of it.
My parents I’m sure, would be happy to see the steps in front of them that lead them to something new, but for me this rather evokes a feeling of regret that either I did something wrong or I just didn’t I understood the situation and the search for new paths that may lead to light does not make me happy or motivated at all.
But as one saying goes, a person can get used to everything maybe slowly, but what he previously valued can fade into the background although I don’t want this, constantly turning back in the hope that something then things will change for the better and there will be motivation not to look for new experiences.
